Dziś propozycja przebudowy dwóch przedwojennych polskich drobnicowców motorowych (Lechistan i Lewant) na pomocnicze pełnomorskie okręty przeciwlotnicze. Z racji typowej dla ówczesnych frachtowców prędkości, wynoszącej 12 w., wyobrażam sobie, że okręty te mogły by płynąć w składzie eskorty konwoju, stanowiąc jego zabezpieczanie przed atakami lotniczymi. Jako główne uzbrojenie okręty otrzymały 8 dział 4-calowych (102 mm) Mk XVI L/45 w stanowiskach podwójnych z maskami, podobnymi do tych takimi jakie otrzymała m.in. nasza Błyskawica, a w Royal Navy – niezliczona wręcz liczba okrętów. Działa te zlokalizowano ponad dotychczasowymi ładowniami, w których zaaranżowano magazyny amunicyjne oraz pomieszczenia dla dodatkowego personelu. Oprócz dział 4-calowych, na uzbrojeniu jednostki znalazły się 3 poczwórne stanowiska 40 mm pom-pomów oraz 4 pojedyncze 20 mm działka Oerlikona.
