Kontynuując temat floty syjamskiej robimy dziś skok w czasie do lat 30-tych XX w. Okręt, który niżej prezentuję, to alternatywna, „napompowana” wersja pancerników obrony wybrzeża typu Sri Ayuthia. Te okręty w swojej oryginalnej postaci były dość kontrowersyjne, zwłaszcza wskutek mizernego opancerzenia, sięgającego zaledwie 63 mm na burcie, przez co niektórzy klasyfikowali je wręcz jako kanonierki. Mój okręt jest znacznie bardziej „rasowy” - ma uzbrojenie godne ciężkiego krążownika, ale na połowie jego wyporności i dysponuje konkretnym opancerzeniem (przy oczywiście umiarkowanej prędkości i niezbyt dużym zasięgu). Myślę, że takie jednostki, o ile byłyby kompetentnie wykorzystywane, stanowiły by np. dla floty francuskiej nie lada orzech do zgryzienia. Bitwa pod Ko Chang mogłaby wyglądać zgoła inaczej;)
