Traktatowy niemiecki POW

Kiedyś już zajmowałem się projektami alternatywnymi dla „pancerników kieszonkowych” (posty z 12 maja 2013 r. i 2 marca 2022 r). Dziś na tapetę biorę kolejny z tych projektów, a mianowicie I/35 z 1925 r. Jest to typowy okręt obrony wybrzeża, uzbrojony w trzy działa kal. 350 mm w wieży dziobowej, 4 działa kal. 150 mm w dwóch wieżach na rufie oraz 4 pelotki kal. 88 mm. Okręt miał być silnie opancerzony, a przez to powolny (19 w.) – gdyż restrykcje traktatu wersalskiego nie pozwalały mu przekroczyć 10000 ton wyporności. Oczywiście, zakładałem, że Niemcy naginali by tu rzeczywistość, w związku z czym projekt by ten limit przekraczał. A tu niespodzianka – zakładane parametry udało się zmieścić na dozwolonej wyporności i nawet udało się zamontować znacznie grubsze opancerzenie pokładu, niż to było przewidziane. Kadłub miał cechować się dość niską wolną burta, przez co czasami określa się ten projekt jako „monitor”. Napęd miał składać się z silników wysokoprężnych, napędzających dwie śruby.
