12,7 mm Browninga.

Były to jednostki liczące sobie ponad 10 000 ton wyporności, uzbrojone w 4 działa 203 mm i kilkanaście 152-120 mm. Moje jednostki to krążowniki pancernopokładowe, o wyporności 7300 ton, uzbrojone w 2 działa 203 mm i 8 dział 152 mm.

Byłą to silniej uzbrojona, wolniejsza i lżej opancerzona wersja lekkiego pancernika.

Monitor rzeczno-morski (?)

240 mm i 90 mm. Rysunek nie przewidywał żadnej artylerii plot (nie posądzam dział w wieżach, by miały wysoki kąt podniesienia), zatem od siebie dodałem kilka (a konkretnie to dwa ;)) dział kal. 66 mm.

203 mm. Artylerię uzupełniało 12 szybkostrzelnych dział kal. 127 mm, które przewidziano w obawie o zbyt niską szybkostrzelność dział 203 mm.
Planowano budowę 2 jednostek w stoczni marynarki wojennej na wyspie Cockatoo w pobliżu Sydney. Z tych planów nic nie wyszło, a ostatecznie  australijska marynarka wojenna pozyskała krążowniki należące do brytyjskiej grupy typów County.
Ciekawostką jest kwestia wyporności. Okręt, wg oryginalnego planu miał mieć 10000 ton wyporności lekkiej, a zatem wyporność standard musiałaby znacznie przekraczać limit wynikający z traktatu waszyngtońskiego.

Niemniej coś spróbowałem podziałać i efekt prezentuję poniżej.
Istniejące opancerzenie burtowe zdemontowano, zastępując je pasem głównym o grubości 305 mm i pasem górnym o grubości 229 mm. Płyty czołowe wież pogrubiono do 310 mm, a pokład pancerny do 133 mm nad cytadelą i 79 mm w pozostałych częściach kadłuba.
To też uczyniono, a uskoki burt skrajnych kazamat wyrównano do krzywizny burty poniżej nich, zyskując w ten sposób dodatkową kubaturę kadłuba.
Rozbudowa nadbudówek wymusiła zmianę położenia marszowego dział w wieżach burtowych – obecnie wieża prawoburtowa zwrócona jest ku rufie, a lewoburtowa – ku dziobowi.

Francuski pancernik kolonialny

Francuski plan rozbudowy floty z 1881 r. przewidywał budowę m. in. 20 pancerników, 8 pancerników kolonialnych i 12 pancerników obrony wybrzeża (a do tego sporą liczbę mniejszych jednostek). Oczywiście, takie liczby w ówczesnych francuskich realiach to czysta abstrakcja, niemniej mocno zaintrygowały mnie owe pancerniki kolonialne.
