POW dla Holandii

 W 1912 r. koncern Vickersa zaproponował Holandii budowę pancerników. Rozpoczęli od prawie „pełnowymiarowych” drednotów, ale wobec skromnej ilości środków jakie Holandia byłą skłonna wydać, przedstawiali coraz to mniejsze okręty, poprzez mini-drednota o wyporności 13850 ton uzbrojonego w 8 dział 343/356, po okręty obrony wybrzeża o wyporności 8000 lub 9100 ton uzbrojone odpowiednio w 4x305 lub 4x343. Dziś „na tapetę” biorę ten ostatni wariant. O okręcie wiadomo tyle, że oprócz ww. parametrów miał mieć wymiary ok. 106,7x20,7x6,7, artylerię średnią 12x102, i prędkość 18 w. (przy mocy maszyn 10500 KM). Reszta parametrów jest moją swobodną fantazją.
Okręt ostatecznie nie zyskał uznania Holendrów, bowiem doszli do wniosku że tego typu jednostki mogą zbudować sobie sami (i ponoć nawet 4 szt. zdążyli zamówić?). To chyba jednak był błąd, bowiem z budowy u siebie nic nie wyszło, a gdyby budowali im Brytyjczycy, to była by szansa, że jakiś okręt (bądź okręty) zdążyły by zostać dostarczone przed wybuchem PWS. A tak – zostali z niczym…

Propozycja pancernika dla Chin

Po przegranej wojnie z Japonią, Chiny pragnęły odbudowy swoich sił morskich. W odpowiedzi, już  pod koniec 1895 r. swoją ofertę budowy okrętów przedstawili Niemcy, a konkretnie stocznia AG Vulcan ze Szczecina. Ich projekt przewidywał okręt o wyporności 7050 ton, prędkości 20 w., pb 190, pag 150 i uzbrojeniu 2x240 i 10x150, a więc w sumie nieduży krążownik pancerny. Nie wzbudził on entuzjazmu, gdyż Chińczycy oczekiwali czegoś silniejszego i lepiej opancerzonego. W związku z tym powstał projekt poprawiony, wg którego okręt, teraz już bliższy małemu pancernikowi, miał mieć 7600 ton wyporności, nieść 2 działa 280 mm i 10 – 150 mm, pb 250, pag 200 oraz rozwijać 18,5 w.

Francuski pancernik Soult z 1893 r.

 Dziś drugi, pomniejszony wariant pancernika inż. Charlesa Huina, prezentowanego w poście z 15 sierpnia. W zasadzie jest do niego bardzo podobny, z tym że ma mniejsze wymiary i wyporność ograniczoną do 11000 ton, oraz uzbrojenie składające się z 4 dział kal. 274 mm w wieżach działowych (podobnie jak artyleria średnia kal. 138 mm). Proponowany okręt prezentuje typowo francuskie kształty kadłuba z silnym dośrodkowym pochyleniem burt, posiada nadbudówki z dwoma masztami bojowymi upodabniającymi go do pancernika Hoche, silnie wygiętą stewę dziobową w stylu krążownika D’Entrecasteaux z dodatkową ostrogą taranu poniżej linii wodnej. Podobnie jak poprzednio, wykonałem symulację okrętu w springsharpie, a za wzór rysunków wziąłem rysunki z forum shipbucket.

Duńskie torpedowce

Dziś okręt, którego propozycja podała w dyskusji pod postem o duńskim POW ( http://springsharp.blogspot.com/2022/08/dunski-pow-z-1936-r.html#comment-form). Międzywojenna flota duńska nie dysponowała poważniejszymi siłami mogącymi stanowić realną osłonę okrętów artyleryjskich. Do najnowocześniejszych i największych okrętów mogących stanowić eskortę należały zaledwie ok. 300-tonowe torpedowce typów Glenten i Dragen, posiadające po 2 działa 75 lub 87 mm. Nie był to jak na lata 30-te imponujący potencjał – stąd przydało by się coś większego.  Niniejsze okręty mają w założeniu stanowić eskortę ww. pancernika, stąd mimo iż formalnie są to torpedowce, główny akcent w uzbrojeniu położono na artylerię. Stanowi ją 4 działa 120 mm, uzupełnione przeciwlotniczymi działkami 40 mm Boforsa i 20 mm Madsena. Uzbrojenie torpedowe ograniczono do 1 potrójnej wyrzutni kal. 450 mm. Prędkość nie jest nadzwyczajna, wynosi 33 w., ale do stawianych jednostce zadań powinna być wystarczająca.

Kaiser Barbarossa z moździerzami

Dziś kolejna jednostka będąca owocem dyskusji pod jednym z wcześniejszych postów. Jest to okręt wyposażony w 2 moździerze, przeznaczone do niszczenia fortyfikacji nadbrzeżnych, stworzony na bazie predrednota typu Kaiser Friedrich III. Głównym orężem jednostki są 2 ciężkie moździerze Gamma kal. 420 mm. Oprócz faktycznie dokonanych na okręcie zmian przed jego wycofaniem z linii w 1916 r. (likwidacja 4 kazamatowych dział 150 mm, wymiana masztów „kolumnowych” na lżejsze, palowe), dokonano następujących zmian: zlikwidowano wieże dział kal. 240 mm, zlikwidowano  nadbudówkę na której spoczywała dziobowa wieża wraz ze znajdującymi się w niej kazamatami, zamontowano w miejscu wież 2 moździerze, zlikwidowano 4 działka 88 mm (na śródokręciu i nad stanowiskiem dowodzenia) a pozostałe wymieniono na nowsze o długości lufy 45 kal., przystosowane do strzelania przeciwlotniczego. Zlikwidowano też wszystkie podwodne wyrzutnie torped, zupełnie nieprzydatne w nowej roli okrętu.

"Krążownik" przybrzeżny

Dziś prezentuję wariant chińskiego okrętu prezentowanego 10 października, zmodyfikowany pod wpływem dyskusji pod tamtym postem. Generalnie okręt jest bardzo podobny do tamtego, ale nastąpiło ujednolicenie jego artylerii. W miejsce całej zbieraniny dział 152, 120 i 76 mm, mamy baterię 3 dział kal. 152 mm, a do zwalczania samolotów – kolejne 3 działa plot. kal. 76 mm. Dla zwalczania małych celów nawodnych, których na niespokojnych wodach przybrzeżnych Chin nie powinno brakować, utrzymane zostały 4 działka 57 mm. O ile w przypadku poprzedniego wariantu jego krążowniczy charakter był kwestionowany, to teraz mamy już do czynienia z krążownikiem przybrzeżnym pełną gębą :D

Przebudowa pancerników typu Rivadavia

 Dziś kolejny post będący efektem dyskusji na blogu (jak widać – warto dyskutować ;))  Jego przedmiotem są przebudowane argentyńskie pancerniki Rivadavia i Moreno. Wykonawcą przebudowy są stocznie amerykańskie, ale ogólny jej styl jest zainspirowany pomysłami włoskimi. Tak więc okręty zostały pozbawione wież na śródokręciu. Działa w pozostałych wieżach zostały przekalibrowane na 320 mm (L/47,6), a kąt ich podniesienia zwiększono do 30 stopni. Na śródokręciu zainstalowano nowy układ napędowy o mocy 105000 KM, rozpędzający pancerniki do 28 w. Zupełnie nowy jest też kompleks nadbudówek i kominów, inspirowany nowoczesnymi projektami amerykańskimi, zwłaszcza modernizacją pancernika New Mexico. Także za ich przykładem okręty otrzymały wyposażenie lotnicze na rufie. Część dziobową przebudowano i wydłużono, celem ułatwienia osiągania dużych prędkości. Artyleria średnia została wymieniona na nowoczesną, uniwersalną kal. 127 mm (amerykańskie działa Mark 12 L/38). Została ona uzupełniona przez liczne działka plot. kal. 28 mm. Wzmocniono opancerzenie poziome, do grubości 140 mm nad śródokręciem i 96 mm nad pozostałą częścią kadłuba.
Otwartą kwestią pozostaje co zrobić ze zdjętymi działami. Najprościej było by ustawić je na lądzie jako artylerię nadbrzeżną. Można je przekalibrować i pozostawić jako działa zapasowe. Ale to wszystko mało atrakcyjne. Można też, po przekalibrowaniu, dobudować do nich trzeci pancernik :)
