Dziś kolejny krążownik dla MW Bułgarii, narysowany wg koncepcji kolegi H_Babbock. Dwa pomysł na większe (do 4000 ton) krążowniki dla tej floty pojawiły się w toku dyskusji pod postem o krążowniku Krum (http://springsharp.blogspot.com/2024/08/may-krazownik-dla-bugarii.html). Jednym z nich był krążownik pancernopokładowy francuskiej budowy prezentowany 25 sierpnia, a drugim – niniejszy okręt. W założeniu jest to mini-Garibaldi, zatem ma podobną, symetryczną sylwetkę wynikającą z konfiguracji układu napędowego (maszynownia między kotłowniami). Okręt dysponuje 2 działami 203 mm i 4 – 152 mm. Ma opancerzenie dochodzące do 80 mm na burcie, 50 mm na pokładzie i rozwija 21 w. Ceną za te parametry na tak ograniczonej wyporności okazał się nieduży zasięg oraz rozmieszczenie dział artylerii głównej w stanowiskach pokładowych z pancernymi osłonami, co jest znacznie lżejszym rozwiązaniem niż wieże. Ogólnie okręt na tle jednostek tureckich dysponuje jednak sporym potencjałem i wraz z prezentowanym poprzednio Terwełem może tworzyć całkiem groźny zespół. Formalnie okręt jest krążownikiem pancernym, aczkolwiek zdaję sobie sprawę, że na tle niektórych innych okrętów tej klasy może wypadać nieco blado. Niemniej, skoro japońska Chiyoda (2400 ton, 10x120, pb 114) była krążownikiem pancernym, to i ten może :)
