Dziś prezentuję kolejny typ okrętu podwodnego. Na skutek
proporcji kadłuba nowa jednostka jest nieco mniejsza (pod względem wyporności)
niż poprzednik, lecz podobnie jak on, ma na wskroś ofensywny charakter. Wyraża
się to przede wszystkim w silnym uzbrojeniu torpedowym na które składa się 8
wyrzutni, w tym 4 w kadłubie i 4 zewnętrzne, oraz nieco zwiększona prędkość
podwodna, która wynosi 9,5 w. i jest to wartość której się nie powstydzimy.
Oprócz tego uwagę zwraca nowego typu działo kal. 75 mm, które jest „odświeżoną”
wersją starego, poczciwego Caneta, w której zwiększono nieco kąt podniesienia
lufy (do 30 stopni), prędkość wylotową (do 840 m/s) i zasięg (do ok. 9,5 km).
Poza tym, nowe okręty mają parametry z grubsza na poziomie
poprzedniego typu. W związku z niedawną utratą Kuny, rozpatruję możliwość, że
na podstawie kadłuba tych jednostek opracowany zostanie nowy podwodny stawiacz min.
Wszystkie 3 jednostki zostały przydzielone do 1 flotylli okrętów podwodnych, aktualnie stacjonującej w Lipawie.
