Niestety, muszę zapowiedzieć małą przerwę w działalności bloga. Spowodowane jest to remontem jaki sobie zafundowałem i związanym z tym ostrym deficytem wolnego czasu, jak i mocno ograniczonym dostępem do sieci. Myślę, że ta przerwa może potrwać nawet do końca czerwca. Jest możliwe, że coś w tym czasie opublikuję, ale raczej nie będzie tego dużo (zwłaszcza na rysowanie okrętów czasu brakuje, a tymczasem głowę mam pełną pomysłów..). Dlatego zalecam uzbrojenie się w cierpliwość, i jednocześnie obiecuję, że blog powróci, a temat polskiej floty w XIX w. będzie na 100% kontynuowany.

Niszczyciel z dwoma działami 75 mm
A oto eksperymentalna wersja niszczyciela z dwoma działami 75 mm. Wagowo faktycznie się
to zgodziło z poprzednią wersją, nawet jest ciut lżejsze, więc wpakowałem

Zmodyfikowany niszczyciel
Dziś prezentuję poprawioną wersję niszczyciela. Okręt jest
identycznie uzbrojony, ale ciut większy, przez co udało się uzyskać nieco
większą prędkość. Co do położenia działa 75 mm – próbowałem je obniżyć, ale niewiele z
tego wyszło – kadłub jest ciut wyższy, nadbudówka niższa, więc w sumie działo
pozostało z grubsza na tym samym poziomie. Natomiast w następnej wersji
niszczyciela postaram się zmodyfikować uzbrojenie, zgodnie z sugestią
ujednolicenia uzbrojenia do 2 dział 75 mm. Zobaczymy co z tego wyjdzie:)

Pierwszy niszczyciel
Dziwne że się jeszcze nikt nie dopomina niszczycieli;)
Postanowiłem naprawić ten mankament naszej floty, i oto jest – nasz pierwszy
niszczyciel! Po sylwetce dość łatwo można się domyślić jego brytyjskiej
proweniencji, i nie ma w tym nic dziwnego, bowiem to właśnie Brytyjczycy wiedli
w latach 90-tych XIX w. prym w budowie okrętów tej klasy (pierwszy okręt
powszechnie uważany za niszczyciel – Havoc, to ich dzieło), i sporo ich
zbudowali dla różnych flot. Oczywiście, pamiętam cały czas że układ
geopolityczny jest taki, że Anglia jest nam raczej nieprzychylna a nasza flota
potencjalnie może być dla Royal Navy przeciwnikiem, ale business is business –
i skoro mogli budować okręty dla Rosji (np. pierwszy rosyjski niszczyciel Sokoł,
późniejszy Prytkij został zbudowany przez stocznię Yarrow), to mogą i dla nas.
Okazuje się, że prywatnej stoczni rząd nie bardzo mógł (albo chciał..) zakazać
budowy okrętów dla floty państwa będącego potencjalnym przeciwnikiem –
przynajmniej jeśli chodzi o takie „drobnoustroje”..
Zakładam, że pierwszy niszczyciel powstanie w Wielkiej
Brytanii, a kolejne, stanowiące jego rozwinięcie, już w rodzimych stoczniach
(bo po tylu latach rozwoju floty to jakiegoś rodzimego przemysłu stoczniowego
już się raczej dorobiliśmy;))

Krążownik pancerny
Długo zapowiadałem krążownik pancerny z prawdziwego
zdarzenia i oto jest! W stosunku do poprzedników, będących przebudowanymi
starymi pancernikami jest to istotny postęp, i to w zasadzie pod każdym
względem. 2 działa kal. 254
mm i 10 szybkostrzelnych kal. 152 mm to siła ognia nieporównywalnie
większa niż 10 dział 203 mm
w kazamatach na poprzednim typie, w dodatku nowocześniej ustawiona, bowiem
działa artylerii głównej znajdują się w wieżach działowych mogących prowadzić
ogień na obydwie burty. Na pierwszy rzut oka tego może nie widać, ale jeśli
uwzględnić szybkostrzelność nowoczesnych dział 152 mm, to okazuje się, że
nowy krążownik może w ciągu 10 minut wysłać w kierunku wroga ponad 17 ton
pocisków, podczas gdy poprzednik z 5 dział znajdujących się na jednej burcie –
ledwo 5 ton! Również opancerzenie jest
krokiem do przodu. 200 mm
zastosowanej tu stali utwardzanej metodą Harveya na burcie to ekwiwalent 320 mm „zwykłego” pancerza
stalowego, a przypomnę, że poprzednie typy miały 250 mm i 213 mm (stali
nieutwardzonej). Zatem wytrzymałość pancerza, mimo mniejszej grubości, jest
wyższa niż na starszych typach. Na koniec dodam, że osiągając 19,4 w., nasz
nowy okręt zostawia w tyle swoich poprzedników, i nie odstaje w tym względzie
od ówczesnego standardu dla tej klasy okrętów.

"Ciężki" krążownik kolonialny
Oto zapowiadany krążownik, który ma być swego rodzaju
ersatzem pancernika w posiadłościach zamorskich. Jakichś poważniejszych walk z większymi siłami wroga nie przewiduję, więc ani prędkośc ani opancerzenie nie są imponujące. Za to duże działa (czy może raczej działo) to wymowny i widoczny na pierwszy rzut oka argument. Do "prezentowania bandery" na odległych akwenach powinien się przydać. W związku z wejściem posiadanie
kolonii w Chinach, okręt może być np. trzonem nowej eskadry dalekowschodniej. Ciekawe jak się spodoba, bo chyba jest dość niekonwencjonalny (choć jak najbardziej w duchu XIX w., kiedy powstało trochę tego rodzaju jednostek).

Transportowce
Dzisiaj prezentuję dwa statki, które zostały przejęte przez
Marynarkę Wojenną od cywilnego armatora w 1890 r., tuż po zwodowaniu, w celu
zapewnienia możliwości transportu własnych oddziałów na Madagaskar. Ponieważ
kwestia transportu własnych oddziałów przy okazji poprzednich działań
(Madagaskar 1883, Hajnan 1884) została przez dowództwo zaniedbana i trzeba było
w tym względzie korzystać z łaski sojusznika (Francja), drugi raz ten sam błąd
nie zostanie popełniony. Zakładam, że z dwóch przejętych jednostek jedna
zostanie przez flotę odkupiona i będzie na stałe pełnić rolę transportowca, zaś
druga po zajęciu wyspy zostanie zwrócona właścicielowi.
