Oto moja propozycja alternatywnej modernizacji pancernika
Nevada po Pearl Harbor, zainspirowana jedną z dyskusji na FOW. Okręt jest
przebudowany na wzór pancerników Tennessee czy West Wirginia. Oprócz
wzmocnionego pancerza poziomego i zamontowanych bąbli (co miało miejsc już
wcześniej), okręt ma baterię dział uniwersalnych 127 mm w wieżach, nową
nadbudówkę wzorowaną na najnowszych ówczesnych pancernikach amerykańskich,
nowoczesny system kierowania ogniem, zmieniony wychylony do przodu dziób oraz całkowicie nową siłownię,
pozwalającą osiągać przyzwoitą prędkość 25 w. W sumie – okręt prezentuje się
wizualnie bardzo nowocześnie, i prawie w niczym nie ustępuje najnowszym

Pierwszy okręt od ponad miesiąca, nieładnie opuszczać fanów na tak długo. Nevada znacznie udoskonalona (w porównaniu ze stanem pierwotnym), mając dość czasu i pieniędzy można ze staroci właściwie dowolne rzeczy robić.
OdpowiedzUsuńWszystko pięknie, tylko zastanawia mnie ta katapulta na rufie. W tym okresie mieli już tyle lotniskowców, i zeby pchać te pojedyncze wodnopłatowce rozpoznawcze na pancernik, wiadomo że niosą dodatkowe zagrożenia dla okretu i jeszcze żeby to to podnieść po wodowaniu to pewnie trzeba by się zatrzymać? Co to za interes?
OdpowiedzUsuńnie ukrywam, że poszłrm tu za wzorem realnie przebudowywanych przez Amerykanów pancerników - po modernizacji zachowywały one swoje wyposażenie lotnicze, stąd i mój je ma. Ale trudno nie zgodzić się też z opinia, iż faktycznie w warunkach posiadanej przewagi mogli je sobie odpuścić bez żadnego uszczerbku dla możliwości okrętów.. Może więcej pożytku dało by upakowanie w miejscu katapulty dodatkowych pelotek?
