Flota polska w XIX w. - monitor rzeczny

Kontynuujemy rozbudowę flotylli rzecznej . Kolejnym okrętem dla niej jest monitor uzbrojony w dwa działa 32-funtowe:

Wisła, polish river monitor laid down 1867

    128 t light; 133 t standard; 135 t normal; 136 t full load

Dimensions: Length overall / water x beam x draught
    114,90 ft / 114,90 ft x 22,67 ft x 2,53 ft (normal load)
    35,02 m / 35,02 m x 6,91 m  x 0,77 m

Armament:
      2 - 32pdr guns in single mounts, 32lbs / 14,52kg shells, 1867 Model
      Smoothbore guns in Coles/Ericsson turrets
      on centreline ends, evenly spread
Weight of broadside 64 lbs / 29 kg
Shells per gun, main battery: 80

Armour:
   - Gun armour:    Face (max)    Other gunhouse (avg)    Barbette/hoist (max)
    Main:    1,18" / 30 mm    0,79" / 20 mm              -

Coal fired boilers, simple reciprocating steam engines,
    Direct drive, 1 shaft, 31 ihp / 23 Kw = 6,00 kts
    Range 300nm at 4,00 kts
Bunker at max displacement = 4 tons (100% coal)

Complement:
    19 - 25

Cost:
    £0,011 million / $0,045 million

Distribution of weights at normal displacement:
    Armament: 7 tons, 4,9%
    Armour: 6 tons, 4,3%
       - Belts: 0 tons, 0,0%
       - Torpedo bulkhead: 0 tons, 0,0%
       - Armament: 6 tons, 4,3%
       - Armour Deck: 0 tons, 0,0%
       - Conning Tower: 0 tons, 0,0%
    Machinery: 8 tons, 6,0%
    Hull, fittings & equipment: 107 tons, 79,5%
    Fuel, ammunition & stores: 7 tons, 5,3%
    Miscellaneous weights: 0 tons, 0,0%

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
      243 lbs / 110 Kg = 9,1 x 4,3 " / 110 mm shells or 0,4 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1,51
    Metacentric height 1,1 ft / 0,3 m
    Roll period: 9,1 seconds
    Steadiness    - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 34 %
            - Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0,12
    Seaboat quality  (Average = 1.00): 0,46

Hull form characteristics:
    Hull has a flush deck
    Block coefficient: 0,716
    Length to Beam Ratio: 5,07 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 10,72 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 19 %
    Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 0,00 degrees
    Stern overhang: 0,00 ft / 0,00 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
       - Stem:        3,48 ft / 1,06 m
       - Forecastle (21%):    3,48 ft / 1,06 m
       - Mid (50%):        3,48 ft / 1,06 m
       - Quarterdeck (19%):    3,48 ft / 1,06 m
       - Stern:        2,49 ft / 0,76 m
       - Average freeboard:    3,39 ft / 1,03 m
Ship tends to be wet forward

Ship space, strength and comments:
Space    - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 56,9%
        - Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 73,5%
Waterplane Area: 2 108 Square feet or 196 Square metres
Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 179%
Structure weight / hull surface area: 46 lbs/sq ft or 223 Kg/sq metre
    Hull strength (Relative):
        - Cross-sectional: 1,00
        - Longitudinal: 1,09
        - Overall: 1,00
Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is excellent
Room for accommodation and workspaces is cramped
Caution: Lacks seaworthiness - very limited seakeeping ability
