Polska flota w XIX w. - mały pancernik centralnobateryjny

Dzisiejszy okręt to mały, centralnobateryjny pancernik obrony wybrzeża, uzbrojony w 4 60-funtówki. Jest to alternatywa dla monitora prezentowanego niedawno, nad którym ma co prawda przewagę w postaci znacznie lepszej dzielności morskiej (przez co z pewnością byłby jednostką uniwersalniejszą), ale też posiada uzbrojenie dużo mniejszego kalibru – stąd nie stanowi jakiejś specjalnej rewelacji. Ale w dobie różnorakich eksperymentów i poszukiwań – a taką były lata 60-te XIX w. – łatwo wyobrazić sobie powstanie takiej jednostki..

Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
      1 245 lbs / 565 Kg = 42,9 x 4,5 " / 115 mm shells or 0,5 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1,77
    Metacentric height 3,4 ft / 1,0 m
    Roll period: 9,5 seconds
    Steadiness    - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 86 %
            - Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0,03
    Seaboat quality  (Average = 1.00): 1,73

Hull form characteristics:
    Hull has a flush deck
    Block coefficient: 0,558
    Length to Beam Ratio: 4,22 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 13,29 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 48 %
    Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): -9,00 degrees
    Stern overhang: 2,49 ft / 0,76 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
       - Stem:        9,12 ft / 2,78 m
       - Forecastle (20%):    7,97 ft / 2,43 m
