Zmodyfikowany pancernik typu Deutschland - 15.06.2010

Propozycja przezbrojenia pancerników typu Deutschland w pancernik monokalibrowy. 14 dział kal. 170 mm zostało zastąpione przez 6 dział 280 mm,również umieszczonych w kazamatach. W efekcie powstałby quasi-drednot uzbrojony w sumie w 10 dział 280 mm, z czego aż 7 (czyli tylko o jedno mniej niż w ”prawdziwym”drednocie Nassau) może strzelać na jedną burtę. Zmiana artylerii odbyła się kosztem zmniejszenia zapasu artylerii, zmniejszenia zasięgu i prędkości ekonomicznej. Efekt jest jednak dość zachęcający – takie jednostki w składzie Hochseeflotte były by niemal równorzędnym jej składnikiem wobec innych niemieckich drednotów.
