Dzisiaj
proponuję coś niestandardowego – niemiecki projekt P,czyli wielki
krążownik (jak kto woli – krążownik liniowy) przeznaczony do operacji
korsarskich na liniach komunikacyjnych wroga. Jest
to swego rodzaju nowocześniejsze wydanie wcześniejszych „pancerników
kieszonkowych” (napęd stanowią oczywiście diesle) .Z powodu wybuchu
wojny nie zdążono takiej jednostki oczywiście zbudować (pomysł był dość
późny, bo dopiero z 1937 r.), zresztą sam projekt rychło wyewoluował w
kierunku znacznie potężniejszego okrętu (projekt OPQ - 6
dział 380 mm w trzech wieżach + 6 dział 150 mm i wyporność ponad 30000
ton), o którego przedstawienie być może pokuszę się w przyszłości;-) Poniższe zdjęcia modelu (jak i sam model) wykonane zostały przez Jefgte z forum Warship Projects Discussion Boards.

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
37 848 lbs / 17 168 Kg = 56,5 x 11,0 " / 280 mm shells or 5,1 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1,31
Metacentric height 6,0 ft / 1,8 m
Roll period: 14,0 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 46 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0,30
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 0,84
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has low forecastle
and transom stern
Block coefficient: 0,543
Length to Beam Ratio: 9,11 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 31,20 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 57 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 23,00 degrees
Stern overhang: 0,00 ft / 0,00 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
- Stem: 30,97 ft / 9,44 m
- Forecastle (20%): 19,09 ft / 5,82 m (20,41 ft / 6,22 m aft of break)
- Mid (50%): 20,41 ft / 6,22 m
- Quarterdeck (15%): 20,41 ft / 6,22 m
