Dzisiaj
prezentuję zasymulowany w springsharpie okręt mogący być brytyjską
odpowiedzią na niemieckie pancerniki kieszonkowe. Pomysł tej jednostki
przedstawił Blenheim na forum DWS, on też jest autorem grafiki którą
możecie zobaczyć poniżej:-) Ogólne dane okrętu miały się przedstawiać
następująco: 20.000 ton standard, 31-32 w., 10x234, 8x120 plot. i 8 wt
533 mm. Oczekiwany pancerz miał być na poziomie 102 mm burta i 76 mm
pokład. Okazało się, że przy takiej wyporności udało się dać dużo
grubszy pancerz: 203 mm na burcie i 102 mm na pokładzie. Takiego
przeciwnika pancerniki kieszonkowe musiały by się mocno obawiać,
zwłaszcza że uciec przed nim by nie dały rady, a same na ogień jego
artylerii nie były by odporne..

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
38 762 lbs / 17 582 Kg = 99,1 x 9,2 " / 234 mm shells or 5,4 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1,11
Metacentric height 3,9 ft / 1,2 m
Roll period: 15,7 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 60 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0,56
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1,19
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak
Block coefficient: 0,568
Length to Beam Ratio: 9,26 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 26,18 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 55 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 8,00 degrees
Stern overhang: 0,98 ft / 0,30 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
