Holenderski drednot Witte de With - 30.01.2012

Jak wspomniałem poprzednio, projekt 743 niezbyt spodobał się Holendrom. Największe zastrzeżenia mieli do usytuowania  wież artylerii głównej, które nie zapewniało wystarczających kątów ostrzału dla wszystkich dział. Dlatego stocznia Krupp-Germania opracowała nowy projekt 743. Oto i on;-) Okręt ma zbliżone wymiary do poprzedniego wariantu, ale korzystniej ustawioną artylerię główną  - wieże superpozycji na dziobie i rufie, a do tego silniejszą artylerię średnią. Jak dla mnie, pomimo iż ma tylko jeden komin, trochę przypomina pomniejszonego Badena. Okręty w typie: Witte de With (1916), Callenburgh (1916),Tjerk Hiddes (1917), Swartenhont (1917), De Ruyter (1918).
