Jak
już wspomniałem, nowe typy pancerników wymagająskonstruowania również
nowych typów krążowników pancernych – była to typowabrytyjska praktyka
na przełomie wieków. Na początek proponuję lekkozmodyfikowaną wersję
ówczesnych realnie budowanych krążowników pancernych –okręt w którym
kazamaty dział 152 mm w części zostały zastąpione przez działa 234 mm.
Poniższy rysunek to zmodyfikowany przeze mnie HMS Drakenarysowany przez Psilandera.

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
9 779 lbs / 4 436 Kg = 25,0 x 9,2 " / 234 mm shells or 1,3 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1,40
Metacentric height 5,3 ft / 1,6 m
Roll period: 12,8 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 100 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0,39
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 2,00
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak
Block coefficient: 0,525
Length to Beam Ratio: 6,83 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 21,91 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 49 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): -15,00 degrees
Stern overhang: 0,52 ft / 0,16 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
- Stem: 25,98 ft / 7,92 m
- Forecastle (13%): 25,98 ft / 7,92 m
- Mid (64%): 23,72 ft / 7,23 m (16,24 ft / 4,95 m aft of break)
- Quarterdeck (18%): 16,24 ft / 4,95 m
- Stern: 17,36 ft / 5,29 m
- Average freeboard: 21,97 ft / 6,70 m
Ship space, strength and comments:
