Ulepszona
wersja poprzedniego pancernika obrony wybrzeża. Główna zmiana dotyczy
artylerii, która została wzmocniona poprzez wymianę dział odprzodowych
na nowoczesne odtylcówki większego kalibru (niestety, konieczna okazała
się jej redukcja do 2 szt.) oraz zainstalowanie artylerii
szybkostrzelnej. Nieco poprawiło się opancerzenie i prędkość, a także
dzielność morska - to dzięki znacznie wyższej wolnej burcie.

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
2 950 lbs / 1 338 Kg = 6,4 x 10,0 " / 254 mm shells or 0,9 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1,12
Metacentric height 2,0 ft / 0,6 m
Roll period: 13,9 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 84 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0,65
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1,67
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has a flush deck
Block coefficient: 0,617
Length to Beam Ratio: 5,47 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 15,97 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 43 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): -8,00 degrees
Stern overhang: 0,98 ft / 0,30 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
- Stem: 10,83 ft / 3,30 m
- Forecastle (20%): 10,83 ft / 3,30 m
- Mid (50%): 10,83 ft / 3,30 m
- Quarterdeck (15%): 10,83 ft / 3,30 m
- Stern: 10,83 ft / 3,30 m
- Average freeboard: 10,83 ft / 3,30 m
