Krążownik liniowy proj. 770 - 06.05.2010

Na początku lat 30-tych we Włoszech narodził się pomysł zbudowania czegoś w rodzaju pancernika kieszonkowego (czy jak kto woli - krążownika liniowego lub wielkiego krążownika). Projekt 770 zakładał okręt ok. 18000-tonowy, uzbrojony w 6 dział 343 mm i posiadający prędkość 26 w. Przeznaczenie takiej jednostki pozostaje niejasne - być może chodziło po prostu o zbudowanie  okrętu szybszego od silniejszych (choć też nie do końca - bo Brytyjczycy mieli wciąż swoje krążowniki liniowe) i silniejszego od szybszych (krążowników waszyngtońskich)?
