Propozycja
pancernika (w domyśle, pomimo nie takich małych, jak na ówczesne czasy
rozmiarów – raczej okrętu obrony wybrzeża niż pancernika pełnomorskiego)
dla US Navy. Uzbrojeniem miały by być 4 odprzodowe gładkolufowe działa
Dahlgrena o kalibrze 15 cali, wyrzucające pociski o wadze 440 funtów,
tutaj zasymulowane przez działa odprzodowe (muzzle loading) kalibru 381
mm. Zgodnie z przeznaczeniem jako jednostki obrony wybrzeża, okręt nie
jest szybki ani nie posiada dużego zasięgu, niestety nie posiada też
stosownego opancerzenia – to wszystko okazało się być ceną za tak duże
działa na w sumie średniej wielkości kadłubie. Do obrony portów, w
realiach przełomu lat 60-tych i 70-tych XIX w. jednak by się chyba
nadawał, z pewnością lepiej niż rachityczne monitory z czasów wojny
secesyjnej..

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
4 828 lbs / 2 190 Kg = 4,2 x 15,0 " / 381 mm shells or 1,1 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1,06
Metacentric height 2,9 ft / 0,9 m
Roll period: 15,9 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 71 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0,70
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1,42
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has a flush deck
Block coefficient: 0,558
Length to Beam Ratio: 4,59 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 17,15 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 27 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): -13,00 degrees
Stern overhang: 1,97 ft / 0,60 m

Ship space, strength and comments:
Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 78,3%
- Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 73,9%
Waterplane Area: 13 224 Square feet or 1 229 Square metres
Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 98%
Structure weight / hull surface area: 199 lbs/sq ft or 970 Kg/sq metre
