Shinano - 13.05.2010

Niedoszłe trzeci i czwarty pancernik typu Yamato - Shinano (nr 110) i Kii (nr 111). W  stosunku do prototypu miały się cechować kilkoma drobnymi zmianami  -m.in. nieco cieńszym opancerzeniem wież artylerii głównej (630 mm), nowymi skuteczniejszymi działami uniwersalnymi (100 mm zamiast dotychczasowych 127 mm i to w większej liczbie, bo aż 24 szt.), ogólnie silniejszą (liczniejszą) artylerią plot. oraz nieco zwiększonym zasięgiem. Wyglądać mogły mniej więcej tak: (obrazek ze strony: http://www.maritimequest.com/warship_directory/japan/battleships/yamato_art_page_2.htm przedstawiający Yamato po modernizacji)
