Small capital ship (1942) - 10.11.2010

Amerykański mały pancernik (small capital ship) proponowany w 1942 r. Założenia mówiły o okręcie mającym następujące charakterystyki: 15000 ton, 6x356, 21 w., pb 356. Przeznaczenie takiej jednostki jest dość zagadkowe, możliwe że chodziło o jednostkę do ostrzeliwania wybrzeża, względnie okręt do eskortowania konwojów? Tak czy siak - wygląda moim zdaniem uroczo:-) A i opancerzony i uzbrojony jest - jak na swoje rozmiary - całkiem, całkiem. I nawet dwa samoloty ma. Razi tylko ta niska prędkość..
